By booking a Chat French conversation session, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Session Booking

• Sessions must be booked in advance through our official booking system.

• Each session has a maximum of 5 participants to ensure quality conversation time.

• Session availability is subject to change based on demand and tutor availability.

2. Attendance & Punctuality

• Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may be admitted at the tutor’s discretion.

• Sessions will begin and end at the scheduled time.

• Late arrivals do not extend session time.

3. Cancellations & No-Shows

• You may cancel or reschedule a session up to 12 hours before the scheduled start time.

• Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the session, or failure to attend (“no-shows”), may result in forfeiture of that session.

• Repeated no-shows may result in temporary booking restrictions.

4. Technology Requirements

Participants are responsible for:

• A stable internet connection

• A working microphone (camera recommended)

• Access to Zoom and basic familiarity with its use

Chat French is not responsible for missed sessions due to technical issues on the participant’s end.

5. Session Conduct

To maintain a supportive and respectful environment:

• Participants must be respectful to tutors and fellow learners

• Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated

• Tutors may mute or remove participants who disrupt the session

Violations may result in removal from a session or termination of membership without refund.

6. Recording Policy

• Recording sessions is strictly prohibited unless explicitly authorized by Chat French.

• Unauthorized recording may result in immediate removal and termination of access.

7. Session Structure

• Sessions are designed to give all participants the opportunity to speak.

• Tutors may guide, redirect, or structure conversation to ensure balanced participation.

• Corrections may be provided during the session or at the end, depending on the flow.

8. Membership Access

• Session booking is available only to active members.

• If a membership is cancelled or expires, future session bookings will be automatically revoked.

9. Changes & Cancellations by Chat French

• Chat French reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances.

• In such cases, affected participants will be notified as soon as possible.

10. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a session, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Session Booking Terms & Conditions.
